Paco, a young cliff diver in Mexico, finds a legendary ring filled with mystery and power.  The ring reveals the secrets of the sea and the dolphin community as it enables him to breathe under water.  Conflict between his fishing village life on land, and his love of the sea comes to a head when tragedy strikes with the repeated drowning of dolphins in the village fishing nets.  Paco learns many lessons as he searches frantically for a solution that will benefit his friends on the land and under the sea.

 Charlie Damitz spent his summers at the Jersey shore where he learned to love the ocean as much as Paco, the main character in this story. He spent many happy hours telling stories to his children that his wife encouraged him to write down. Several writing courses later, two books were published The Giant Egg and The Shot Not Heard Around the World. This first Paco adventure is his latest story. Charlie is a practicing veterinarian in Massachusetts.
